The current owners are only the third stewards of this historic home, which was most recently used as a law firm—something you feel most clearly in the library, where floor-to-ceiling shelves and architectural depth remain beautifully intact. Rather than erasing that chapter, The Crest has preserved it, allowing the building’s story to remain visible while giving it new purpose.

What stands out right away is the light. Tall ceilings and generous windows allow natural light to move easily from room to room, highlighting the original details throughout the home—historic hardware, fireplaces, moldings, and a sweeping staircase that immediately anchors the space. Every turn feels intentional without feeling staged, which is something I always pay attention to when imagining how a wedding day will unfold.

Upstairs, the experience becomes especially thoughtful for couples.

The entire level is dedicated to getting ready, designed to support the rhythm of the day rather than compete with it. There are distinct spaces for hair and makeup, allowing the main getting-ready room to stay open and uncluttered. The bridal suite itself feels refined and welcoming, anchored by a statement chaise that photographs beautifully without overpowering the room.
