FROM OUR FIRST CONVERSATION

I take time to understand what matters most to you—your priorities, the structure of the day, and the details you’re most drawn to, so decisions are made with intention well before your wedding day comes. From our first conversation, the focus is on preparation that feels personal & steady.

Before The wedding

Communication is clear and consistent, with timelines shaped around your needs and support that keeps planning focused. Engagement sessions and portrait planning are approached with the same care, offering direction that feels comfortable, grounded, and true to who you are.

By the time your wedding arrives, the groundwork is already in place.

Coverage feels organized without feeling controlled, allowing the day to move forward with confidence and attention where it belongs.

On The wedding day

Your wedding celebration is handled with active awareness and coordination. I’m working closely with planners and vendors, tracking the timeline, adjusting for light, and staying attentive to how the day is unfolding so everything stays aligned without feeling rigid. When additional photographers are present, I’m overseeing coverage to ensure nothing is duplicated or missed and that the work remains cohesive.

Light is prioritized throughout the day, from portraits to quiet in-between moments. I’m constantly watching how it shifts through spaces and adjusting positioning and timing when needed. Portraits are guided with clarity and efficiency, family photographs are organized kindly and decisively, and space is protected when couples need a moment to themselves—especially before the ceremony.

Beyond structured moments, I stay unobtrusive while remaining fully present. Details are photographed with intention, interactions are documented as they happen, and movement through the day is followed without interruption.

The goal is not just thorough coverage, but a gallery that feels considered—one that reflects the pace, relationships, and personal details that shaped the day.

After the CELEBRATIONS

Your photographs are edited in my signature true-to-life approach, honoring the color, feeling, and depth of your day. A preview arrives soon after the wedding, with your complete gallery following once every image has been curated with intention. You’ll receive full-resolution files with printing rights, giving you the freedom to share and preserve your story in whatever way feels meaningful.

If you choose to create an album or heirloom prints, I design each piece with the same care that guides the rest of your experience—thoughtfully, collaboratively, and with attention to how your memories will live in your home and in your family’s history.

THE COLLECTIONS

Crafting an experience that feels effortless, clear, & intentional.

The collections are designed as clear starting points

They outline the overall scope of time, coverage, and approach, giving you a strong sense of what’s included while allowing flexibility where it matters. Hybrid film coverage, additional sessions, and heirloom pieces are available within each collection, so the experience can be shaped to reflect your priorities rather than a fixed formula.

Once you reach out, we'll talk through your plans, what matters most to you, and how you’re envisioning your wedding. From there, the collection that fits best is refined and shared in a personalized proposal, bringing together coverage and optional offerings in a way that is considered, personal, & aligned with your day.

The collections are designed as clear starting points, each built to support a different scale of wedding—from intimate days to full weekend coverage.

A Few Helpful Notes –

What’s your approach on a wedding day?

I move through a wedding day with an easy, attentive presence—offering guidance when it brings comfort and letting moments breathe when they don’t need direction. The result is imagery that feels honest, warm, and true to the day as it was lived.

Do you photograph with film as well as digital?

Hybrid coverage is available, blending true-to-life digital work with the depth and texture of 35mm film. Film is used intentionally, adding a subtle layer of richness that complements the overall edit rather than overpowering it.

How does timeline planning work?

Timeline planning is handled in collaboration with your planner. They lead the structure of the day, while I offer insight around pacing and light—supporting the experience without interrupting its natural flow.

How do you curate a wedding gallery?

Each wedding gallery is curated with care, shaped by the rhythm of the day rather than a set image count. The focus is on delivering a complete and cohesive body of work—portraits, moments, and the meaningful in-between—so the story unfolds naturally from beginning to end.

What locations do you feel most connected to?

Home is the Carolinas, with work that often carries beyond—along the coast, into the mountains, and to places that feel personal or new.

Can we personalize a collection?

Collections are designed as a starting point, with room to adapt around what matters most to you. Coverage can be adjusted to reflect your priorities, whether that includes additional time, film, pre-wedding sessions, or heirloom pieces.
